Theodora & Callum’s Resort 2012 Collection has me dreaming of island hopping somewhere exotic. But I guess I’ll settle for Montauk, wink.
Conceived by Glamamoms Stefani Greenfield (co-founder of one of my favorite shopping destinations, Scoop NYC) and Desiree Gruber (founder and president of multimedia production company, Full Picture), and named after their children, Theodora & Callum is an accessories line featuring scarves, jewelry, shoes, and bags inspired by their travels. It just launched Spring 2011 and I’m seeing pieces everywhere.
The prints take me back to vibrant markets of my past like the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and the Mercado de Artesanias in Oaxaca:

I have to admit I am not loving the Sante Fe prints that I am seeing lately only since it IS the resort collection maybe it is just sour grapes because the most exotic we are getting this summer is San Diego…which I guess is sorta exotic in a mainstream family destination kinda way.
I think the Sante Fe look makes me think of my Dad’s house in the 80′s which had howling coyotes galore.

No exotic plans either…BUT I live at the shore and pretend I am hitting the exotic beaches sometimes…

Those necklaces are simply amazing! And those wedges… LOVE! I’m heading to Miami the first week in August, but I can definitely grab some for my end-of-summer vacation. Along with my godparents, Aiden and I are heading to a cruise that leaves from Puerto Rico and going to Barbados, St. Maarten, and St. Lucia. I can’t wait to hit those exotic beaches!
