AMERICAN LIVING | MADE FOR 12 DAYS OF GIVING {SPONSORED}

With less than one month till Christmas and Hanukkah, the countdown has begun!  I’ve been passing along my favorite gift ideas all week and here’s some more…

American Living invited me to choose a gift from it’s preppy, budget-friendly 2011 Holiday Collection for one of the recipients on my list. From children’s wear to formal wear, there’s something for everyone.

It was a tough decision but I narrowed it down to something fun and casual for someone special that works hard to play hard.  Any guesses?

I’ll be unveiling my selection tomorrow.

What would you choose and for whom?

TEA COLLECTION: FOR LITTLE CITIZENS OF THE WORLD {REVIEW & GIVEAWAY}

We’re heading back from our trip to Argentina, so I thought it’d be fitting to feature the fabulous, destination-inspired duds of Tea Collection. If you’re not familiar with Tea, it’s the only kids’ clothes and women’s apparel company that travels to a different world destination for the inspiration behind each of its collections. The designs are adorably unique and the quality is outstanding.

Here’s Sebastian at The Met this past spring in a striped Tea pullover and he’s been rocking pieces from the Modern Mexico collection our entire trip:

The holiday collection is just precious with its vibrant colors and patterns:

Tea is available in more than 400 stores including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, and fine boutiques throughout the U.S. and abroad, and is offering free shipping on online orders over $150; $7 on everything else.

And since pretty much anything from Tea would make a fab gift this holiday season, I’m giving away a $100 gift certificate!

TO ENTER: Visit Tea and tell me what you would purchase.

For an extra entry, follow Glamamom via Google Friend Connect or subscribe to email updates with a confirmed subscription.

Two entries total. Please leave a separate comment for each.

I will choose a winner via random.org on Sunday, December 4th.

Open to readers worldwide.

UPDATE: The winner is Yvette, who wrote that she likes the Dancing Dragons Pajamas. Congrats Yvette!

LINDT LINDOR TRUFFLES DURING THE HOLIDAYS {SPONSORED}

We’re in Argentina for Thanksgiving, where obviously the holiday isn’t celebrated but it seemed like an opportune time to finally bring Sebastian down to meet Leo’s extended family, particularly his 91-year old great-grandfather from whom he inherited his surname.

It’s just about summer so the weather is gorgeous and we’re surrounded by the most boisterous and affectionate family imaginable. It’s customary to exchange little gifts (and lots of kisses), no matter what the occasion, so of course I was running around at the eleventh hour trying to figure out what regalitos to get everyone. Fortunately, I knew I could grab an arm full of Lindor Truffles at Duty Free for the impossible-to-buy-for uncles and unanticipated recipients.

I also like to keep Lindor on hand for the holidays. Chocolate truffles are a universally great gift because um, who in their right mind doesn’t like to sink their teeth into chocolate ganache? Lindor’s packaging is perfectly festive so I always buy extra for hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, and those unexpected guests. Oh, and maybe some for myself, wink.

Nothing tastes quite like the Lindor Truffle. Created only by Lindt’s Master Chocolatiers, it’s exquisite chocolate filled with a smooth chocolate center. When the irresistible center starts to melt…so will you. Smooth. Flowing. Luscious. Chocolate like no other.

MODE MONDAY: LUCKY

[skirt: h&m / top, flats & clutch: zara / necklace: ann taylor / bow bracelet: c/o jewelmint / cuff: c/o kara ross / watch: michael kors / lips: mac viva glam / nails: essie midnight cami]

Here’s what I wore to the Lucky Shops Black Friday blogger preview and what you see glimpses of in the Time Warner Center promo video. I didn’t understand that we were being filmed for a public video or I may have worn something a little different. And you’d better believe that I would have worn heels if I knew I was going to be standing next to glamazon, twenty-somethings. High ones. But I love the bubble shape of this skirt and its bold print.

If you’re visiting for Monday Mingle, welcome! This week we’re giving away a $50 kate spade new york gift card to one of the participants so getting snapping! We want to see what you’re wearing and/or inspired by.

UPDATE: The winner of the kate spade new york gift card is #9, STYLE’N.

Have a glamorous week!

LUCKY SHOPS BLACK FRIDAY DEALS AT TIME WARNER CENTER

I’ve spent all year reviewing products and attending trade shows to determine this season’s hottest gifts from beauty to books. I’ll be posting recommendations throughout the next week or so but Black Friday is upon and if you’re in NYC, you won’t want to miss Lucky Magazine Shops, one-day-only, Black Friday deals at The Shops at Columbus Circle, Time Warner Center.

Complimentary mini-makeovers at Sephora? Gifts with purchase? 25% off? YES PLEASE!!!

Here’s a fun promo I filmed last week while scoping out the deals at a blogger preview with Christina Cardona of Trop Rouge, Lindsey Calla of Saucy Glossie, Christine Cameron of My Style Pill, Claire Geist of De Lune Blog, and Natalie Suarez of Natalie Off Duty:

The video will be featured on Time Warner Center’s website and maybe even Lucky Mag’s (OMG!) And in case you missed it, 25% off makes affordable things even more affordable. Ugh, sometimes my nerves get the best of me. BUT, I had a blast running around Time Warner Center perusing the beautiful shops. It’s such a unique fixture to the Manhattan shopping scene with its sweeping views of Central Park and multi-level, luxe shopping and restaurants.

For a full rundown of the discounts and deals click here: Black Friday Deal Hunter Booklet.

Happy Shopping Darlings! Tell me, how far along are you? Just finishing up or just getting started?

{I was not compensated for this post. The preview was part of MasterCard’s Priceless New York experiences and I received a MasterCard from Lucky Magazine to shop the deals.}
