AMERICAN LIVING | MADE FOR 12 DAYS OF GIVING | DAY 1 {SPONSORED}

Yesterday I told you about the Made for 12 Days of Giving program I’m participating in with American Living. I got to pick a gift for one of the recipients on my list and drum roll please…here it is:

Cat’s out of the bag.  Act surprised when you open it, Leo.

What do you think of my choice?  I chose the Flannel Plaid Shirt for my DH for the following reasons:

(1) It’s casual but polished and Leo could really use more non-banker-looking collared shirts for nights and weekends.
(2) It’s plaid and plaid is always in style. I like men in plaid.  Maybe we can even role play and pretend he’s a lumber jack.
(3) It’s flannel and super warm. Unlike me, Leo is always cold. We regularly bicker about the temperature in the apartment and this cozy shirt could be the secret to a happy marriage.  Ours anyway.
(4) It’s on sale! Regularly $60, this handsome shirt can be scooped up for $29.99!

Do you think he’ll like it? Have your eye on anything for that special someone?

    LOL, I’m cracking up at the lumber jack role play! Too funny! I’m sure Leon will love it.

    Goodness, I havent even thought about what I’m getting DH. He had the audacity to hint around for Rosetta Stone , claiming that he has been wanting to learning Spanish. Ummm, since when? He is super busy and I cant imagine him sitting down and committing himself to that, and that collection is way too much money to spend on his sudden, flighty interest. I think I’ll get him a few nice shirts as well, but his have to come from Rochester Big & Tall (lol).

  4. I’m sure he will like it! Plaid shirts make men look… Manly! Maybe you could throw it on with some leggings!

  6. Oel Reyam :

    Your husband is a very lucky guy. I know he used to like grunge music so im fairly certain he will feel at home in the flannel.

  7. I have a thing for guys in flannel, too. I’m so glad it’s the hipster shirt of choice :) That’ll make a great gift and I’m sure Leo will love it (and then you can get some role playing in. Win-Win!)

  8. I’ve always liked men in plaid too. Very handsome choice.
