It’s officially winter in Manhattan but I refuse to pull out the puffer just yet. I picked up this suede cape while in Argentina and as long as I layer underneath, I can keep warm and still look presentable. They have so many unique leather goods in Argentina, if you’re into that sort of thing…which I am.
The flats are from a membership site called Sole Society. Have you heard of it? I went to a party last week hosted by Barbara Jones and Catherine Connors to check out the designs. They’re really cute and super affordable ($49.95 – $69.95). You take one of those fun style quizzes to determine your “Style Bio” using preferred celebrities, runway looks, and style images as a guide. I always love to see how they classify my style. At the beginning of each month, you get a fresh collection of shoes in your “closet,” based on your personal style choices. Anyway, I got to pick a pair and chose these smoking flats, which I love and know I’ll get a ton of use out of.

These flats are quite comfortable. I’ve walked around in them with KushyFoot socks and so far I’m fine. I completely agree with you. The other shoes they had on display at the event were serious platforms and realistically, I didn’t think I would be comfortable in them but the site has an array of options. I just joined so I haven’t purchased anything yet…
