Happy Weekend Lovelies! Are you more of an e-mail/e-card-sender or do you prefer traditional, hand-written letters and cards?
I would say I’m 50/50. While my businesses and most of my social connections revolve around email and social media, I still prefer to send handwritten cards and invites when time permits. I love the process of sending mail and of course that little spike of anticipation I get when I myself open the mailbox and spy a pretty envelope.
My mom is the queen of greeting cards. She stocks up so she always has the perfect card for every occasion. I’d like to be better at it and thinking having cards on hand is the way to make it happen.
Hallmark was one of the awesome sponsors of the Mom 2.0 conference in Key Biscayne and invited us to a “card suite” papered with inspirational greeting cards for us to send to the special women in our lives for Mother’s Day.
They also honored 3 bloggers with “card showers,” Hallmarks new free, online service that easily allows you to “shower” a special someone with a mailbox of well wishes, gratitude or support.
WIN IT! To help you connect, Hallmark is supplying one Glamamom reader with a 10-pack of assorted greeting cards. With Father’s Day just around the corner, they’ll certainly come in handy!
TO ENTER: Leave a comment below telling me who you’d like to send a personal, hand-written card to. You must follow Glamamom at least one of the following ways: confirmed email subscription, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram.
One entry per person. I’ll randomly choose a winner in a week.
UPDATE: The winner is #21, Charlotte. Thanks to those who entered.

I used to send cards about once a month to my grandma, and should would always tell me “that card came just when I really needed it”, so I LOVE sending personal cards to family and friends (even though I miss sending them to my grandma).
To my mother in law & her husband. They’ve been there for my husband & I no matter what… and she stepped up more so when my own family “disowned” us …

LOVE sending and receiving cards… Only one person to pick a card for?? That’s a tough one. I’ll see my dad on father’s day, so I’d have to say I’d mail a card to my BFF who just bought a house with her gf. It would be a “just because” and “congrats” in one card

My family and I live in Alaska because my husband is an active duty soldier – so I have many people I would write to. First person would be my best friend, Sasha back home in California. We miss each other so… Especially as we are trying to figure out mommy hood without being physically present in one another’s lives….
I love sending cards to my dear friend, Robin. She is the greatest friend ..
