Stella & Dot Fall 2012 Collection

Stella & Dot's SoHo ShowroomIt doesn’t get more glamorous than breakfast with Stella & Dot in their exquisite, bright and airy SoHo showroom to preview a new collection.

That was precisely my big outing of the day today, as temps continued to claw their way above 90 degrees.  But if there was any reason to venture out, this was it!

Regrettably, I hardly ever get down to SoHo anymore.  It’s the first neighborhood I lived when I arrived in Manhattan 13 (gulp) years ago so of course it holds a special place in my heart.  While it’s now most notable for its exclusive retail and the resulting tourists, early in the day, before the shops open for business, the cobblestone streets are perfectly still and the cast iron buildings bask quietly in the sleepy sun.

Atop such a building on Wooster, the lovely ladies of Stella & Dot introduced me to the new Fall 2012 Collection, inspired by a mix of natural elements and vintage textures.

There’s something for every taste, from bold, occasion pieces in sculpted leaves, exotic flora, birds and animals, to delicate, mix and match charms and chains.

Here’s a little peek:

Stella & Dot Fall 2012 Collection Preview

I particularly like the mixed metals and the versatility of pieces that can be worn several ways, like the Tempest that’s reversible, and the Gitane that can be worn with or without its tassel, doubled or long.

Major bonus points that all of these pieces can be worn to work or play.

Are you in love like I am?

For the full collection, as well as information on flexible sales opportunities like hosting a trunk show or becoming a stylist, visit Stella and Dot.

{I was not compensated for this post but I did go home with some fabulous new jewelry which I’ll be featuring soon!}
