If the theme of Strut: The Fashionable Mom Show was elegance and comfort, the theme of the Just Dance 4, Tumbler and Tipsy show Tuesday night was effervescent candy! With a catchy performance from British pop star Cher Lloyd to kick off the show, the entire audience was ready for the high energy fun that awaited!
The fashion ranged from bright florescent tulle and sequin combinations (and separate tulle and sequin looks) to geometric print dresses and jump suits. Some of the models carried giant lollipops as props and wore their hair in a cotton candy-esque up-dos to capitalize on the candy theme of the evening.
The designer, Michael Kuluva, a former professional figure skater, cut a beautiful silhouette using tulle, but my favorite look was the more simple and much more wearable Pink Pheasant Feather Gown, a feather detailed dress with an uneven hemline shortening towards the back.
Walking the runway were E! reality show star Kendall Jenner and Olympic soccer player Alex Morgan. Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Jonathan Cheban, and Lance Bass were all in attendance to show their support for Ms. Jenner.
Also spotted enjoying the show were Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi and fashion expert of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Carson Kressley.
Ending the show, Michael Kuluva walked the runway with Jenner, and if his demeanor was any indication, it was his high energy and fun spirit that truly shaped the show to make it the success that it was.
