Forget Hurricane Sandy, NYC is facing an even bigger menace:
Halloween celebrations kicked off this weekend with some local festivities. Considering the weather forecast for the next few days, I’m glad we got started early!
Sebastian has gone back and forth between two costumes this season, Cookie Monster and this T-Rex from Chasing Fireflies. I have to admit I prefer this one to faux blue fur but am trying not to influence his creative decisions.
We’ll see which alter ego makes it out trick-or-treating, if either.

lol, omg, this is way too cute!!!! he is the sweetest looking dinosaur ever. although the one of him, backward, walking up the stairs is actually a bit menacing.
we enjoyed some halloween festivities as well – parade and party and the like. SO glad since, as you stated, who knows what Frankenstorm (i hate that name, lol) will bring…

SOOO cute! I am so bummed…as it looks like we won’t be trick or treating tonight…Jersey Shore is in TOTAL devestation…it is crazy…we are about 4 miles in from beach so we just have a few trees down…but so many people didn’t fare so well. We got out yesterday to our Philly condo …I couldnt survive any longer w infant and no power…looks like we might be here for days.
Anyway…my little pirate is super disappointed….So tell your lil Rex/Cookie Monster to get some extra candy for all the kiddies who can’t trick or treat! He is ADORABLE in that outfit.

Awwww, SOOOO CUTE!! I actually thought he was the boy from Where the Wild Things Are initially. Don’t tell him I said that. He is adorable in this costume. I’m glad mommy got started early and that he was able to wear this on the streets
