Winter Nudes {Guest Post}

Like most New York City girls, I just love an occasion to dress up, and if there isn’t one available, I typically just make it up.

But once the dark, cold winter days hit, it takes a little something special to get me up off my cozy couch and get me in the “dressing up and going out” mood. And most of the time, the typical all black and grey wardrobe choices just don’t suffice.

Enter ShoeDazzle’s Dana heel in a nude/mint combination and Ramiro Encizo’s Petit Noor Tote in Gold Pearl Ostrich.  Now, nothing motivates me to get out the door faster than a luxurious bag in ostrich and a pair of adorable (and very reasonably priced!) comfy heels.

Not only did this shoe/purse combo satisfy my craving for color on a cold winter day last Friday, but it fulfilled my love of a good high-low pairing.  The nude/mint heel matched with the absolutely amazing ostrich Gold Pearl Ostrich purse.

And the outcome?

Tons of compliments, from friends and strangers alike.  I wasn’t surprised, everyone loves a little color to break up the bleary winter weather.
