Okay, I’m jumping on the boyfriend jeans trend. I rarely stray from dark wash, slim fit jeans but boyfriends evoke a casual comfort that when paired with heels strikes a perfect balance. For the record, the light wash is not as flattering on my thighs as darker colors but with a heel it’s doable. These are from the Gap and retail for $69 (I had a 30% off discount) but Carly from Thirty Something Fashion swears by her Old Navy ones.
I paired them with my sole Prabal Gurung for Target purchase (I actually bought a couple of more thing but opted to return them), the Nolita print heels, which I really like. They’re sturdy and pretty comfortable (as much as a high heel can be) and the print is fun, even if we’ll be seeing it everywhere.

You know I have strong urges to steal those shoes from you while you are sleeping. I tried the boyfriend about 3 years ago and Mr. Momtrends pouted for a week. Sticking to my skinnies for now. But from one fashion fan to another I love the look.

I’m going to have to try these, unfortunately the ON pair didn’t work for me. Their jeans tend to fit too tight in the hips, too loose in the waist. But I usually have great luck with Gap. I adore them paired up with those pumps. The colors are so great! Really nice styling on this outfit.

Love love love the boyfriend denim paired with the Prabal pumps. Makes me want to run back and snatch them up-I opted for a pair of the flat metallic sandals for practicality, but these are so fun!

I LOVE the pumps! The jeans look great too, but I’m not confident enough with my post-pregnancy body to attempt any new styles. Hopefully another 6-8 weeks, and I’ll be there.
