P&G “Have You Tried This Yet” Stylemaker Day

P&G Have You Tried This Yet EventWhen someone offers advice on how to make the everyday more glamorous, I’m all ears.

Robert Verdi, Vanessa Lachey, and stylist Irma Martinez hosted an afternoon soiree last week at Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory to share their favorite entertaining and lifestyle tips using the P&G collection of Have You Tried This Yet? products designed to help transform daily routines for the better.

The “Trend Trio” shared their favorite fashion trends for Spring (bold stripes, florals, black and white), practical tips for women on the go (always carry a clutch in your day bag so you’re ready to go from day to night; buy statement suits so you have the added option of wearing the jacket and bottom as separates), miscellaneous household suggestions (make your guest bathroom more inviting by folding the lead sheet of toilet paper into a point– hotel style; keep sheet sets inside their respective pillow cases; maintain that straight-out-of-the-wash scent by putting a little scent booster (Downy Unstopables) into a jewelry bag and putting it in your drawers/closets), beauty tips (Crest White Strips before a night out), and even a little messy bun tutorial from Vanessa (separate hair into 3 sections/pin the middle section into a bun/braid the two side sections and wrap them both around the bun and pin.)

The group was hilarious and there were a lot of laughs, which is really the biggest part of the “living glamorously” equation isn’t it?  It was so great to see my fellow bloggers, several of whom came in from out of town, and to meet Vanessa after the phone interview we had last summer while both pregnant.
