{REVIEW} of the new Ergobaby Four Position 360 Carrier that allows you to wear baby forward-facing, as well as front inward, back or on the hip, for optimum flexibility.

A comfortable baby carrier is a real asset for caregivers. The benefits of babywearing are well-documented and being hands-free can increase productivity and save your sanity.

After Sebastian was born, I tested several carrier options and found Ergobaby to be among the most comfortable. That's no easy feat considering he weighed over 25 pounds by his first birthday but with the help of our Ergobaby, I toted him around New York City, on buses and subways, through museums and parks, for years.

Our carriers got a second life when Lucas was born. In addition to wanting him safe and close, Sebastian still needed a stroller so I often wore Lucas while pushing Sebastian. If we were out and about and I needed Lucas to nap, all I had to do was wear him and he conked out immediately. I had a particularly hard time last summer vacation getting him to nap in the new environment and would carry him around in the Ergobaby to make him drowsy. Worked every time!

Two weeks ago, we celebrated the launch of the brand's newest offering, the Ergobaby Four Position 360 Carrier, at a family media event at the American Museum of Natural History. The highlight of the new 360 Carrier is the option of wearing baby forward-facing, as well as front inward, back or on the hip for optimum comfort and flexibility:

They also added a wide, supportive waistband and padded shoulders to evenly distribute baby's weight making the carrier even more comfortable. The new waistband does an even better job of sucking me in and making me look 10 pounds thinner!

Lucas is now 20 months and not happy unless he's running wild or climbing so ignore the puss!

The structured bucket seat puts baby in an ergonomic frog-leg, seated position with the spine at an optimal position so you can be sure that your little one is not only comfortable but in a safe position as well.

The Ergobaby Four Position 360 Carrier is available in black and grey starting today at www.ergobaby.com as well as select retailers and specialty boutiques nationwide.
