We had such an incredible experience at Field Station Dinosaurs last year, I couldn't wait to take Sebastian back again. Every year his curiosity grows tenfold and our adventures become that much more meaningful and memorable.

The woodsy grounds in Secaucus, New Jersey appeared exactly as they did last year with 30+ life-sized animatronic dinosaurs exhibits, games, workshops, and entertainment. The only new addition is Dinosaurs Alive! a 3D movie that takes visitors to the deserts of Mongolia and New Mexico on an expedition of discovery in 3D to find fossils and uncover scientifically accurate computer-generated dinosaurs as they come to life on the giant screen. My guys are too young so we skipped it but it looks really fun.

The weather was much cooler for our visit this year (April vs. June) but Sebastian still loved it. My tips and recommendations for visiting the park remain the same but I will add that comfortable shoes are a must. We visited on a particularly windy day and dirt was swirling everywhere. I was very happy to be wearing my Therafits!

We again had a great time walking from dino to dino, digging for fossils, and even playing a friendly game of "Raptor Feud," a prehistoric take on Family Feud. If you live in the TriState area and have a dino-lover too, I hope you make it out this summer for a visit. Field Station Dinosaurs has become an annual trip I really look forward to.
