At a children's crafting event celebrating the launch of the Swiffer "MFTOuM" target="_blank">Sweep & Trap this afternoon at Make Meaning in Manhattan, rockin' mama Jewel serenaded us with her version of the "Clean-Up Song." It's far better than my own "If you don't help me clean up now, you're going to your room!" rendition, I'll tell you that.

While the kids did messy crafts like glitter art and cookie decorating, we got to see the Swiffer "MFTOuM" target="_blank">Sweep & Trap in action scooping up large crumbs into its removable bin. You know I love my Swiffer products but it was Sebastian who was most impressed. When he saw it in our goody bag as we were leaving, he said something like, "Finally I get my own vacuum." As if we've been depriving him all these years. Enjoy it kid! If you're a really good boy, we'll get you this one for your birthday.

Jewel was as sweet as you would imagine her to be and gushed about the hands-on experiences and messes made by her 2-year old son. The "Clean-Up Song" will be available for free download on www.facebook.com/swiffer, along with the video of her performance if you want to try and brainwash your children with it.

I also have one Swiffer prize pack to give away including:

  • Swiffer tote with Sweep & Trap
  • Sweep & Trap refills
  • Craft recipe cards
  • Kids crafts

Just leave a comment below to throw your hat in the ring and I'll randomly choose a winner in a week. US only please and you must be 18 or older.

UPDATE: Congrats Janice!
