Here again I find myself hosting #MondayMingle after another terrible tragedy.  I hope you find some joy and distraction from this week’s posts.

I’ve remarked before how limiting I find dressing while nursing.  Especially as it’s getting colder and I need more layers/heavier tops to keep warm.  I’m thrilled to discover Seraphine Maternity’s line of nursing tops and sweaters.  All of the pieces provide easy access in a discreet but fashionable way.

I’m wearing the Indigo Striped Nursing Sweater that has snap fastenings on both sides that are easy to pull open to nurse.  The design is roomy and slouchy and covers my hips and butt so I can wear it with leggings for comfy days like yesterday when we just bummed around and decorated our Christmas tree.  But it’s certainly cute enough to dress up as well.  Leo took a bunch of pics of us nursing and they’re so beautiful but I think it’s enough that I post beauty and fashion shots of myself here!  You’ll just have to trust me that’s it a perfectly functional garment as well, wink.

One #MondayMingle participant this week will win R.J. Graziano for HSN’s “Go Glam” Set of 10 Crystal-Accented Bangle Bracelets:

“Monday Mingle” is a weekly fashion/personal style link-up rotated between Momtrends, BonBon Rose Girls, and Glamamom.

my thoughts are with the families of Connecticut right now. i can not even begin to imagine the pain they are in right now :( makes me so so sad.
Nothing really can distract from that, but you my dear are a little ray of sunshine in a very dark world right now. You look so so pretty in these photos. Your skin is glowing and that maternity top is amazing. I wish i had had some when Neo was born! xxx thank you for hosting xx

Very classy way to handle today’s post. My thoughts are with the families in Connecticut, and it’s difficult to put one’s emotions about a national tragedy into words, or perspective.

And thank you, I am getting joy from your post today. The blue in your top is so vibrant, and those bracelets are amazing.

All the best to you and yours,

Gifted the same sweater and ADORE…I have been wearing it so often this fall/winter. The convenience is unmatched. I opted for gray, but loving the stripes.
Such a tough Monday..sending my little one to preschool was hard today…just the saddest weekend:(

Hope all is well with you.

What a great top and thanks for the recommendation. Baby is due in Feb and I hope that if I can breastfeed this time (I couldn’t first time) I find easy to wear nursing friendly tops. You look great as always :)

thanks for this! It is incredibly frustrating finding things to wear while nursing. I feel like I end up wearing the same things because they are easier. This sweater is a great option. Considering I have (hopefully) another seven months to go… I’ll need to stock up on a few of these essentials. 😉

This is such a cute and creative idea for a maternity shirt! I would never have known. I used to just have the wrap front tops that you would pull down, but i love this!

Your eyeshadow is so pretty! I can see how this sweater would make things easier for you. I have to admit, I’ve never though about nursing clothing before and how inconvenient some things must be.
