Downy hosted a media event last week at a laundromat on the Upper West Side to introduce Lauren Conrad as a brand ambassador and show how fabric softener and scent boosters improve the look and feel of clothes. I’m putting Downy to the test with my own clothes and will report back soon but yeah, Lauren Conrad!! I was pretty excited to meet her, even at 9 in the morning to talk about laundry. She was super sweet and Vera Sweeney and I had the opportunity to sit down with her to learn what she’s up to. I’ll transcribe the interview shortly but she was kind of tight-lipped about inquiries into her beauty routine and what she was wearing. We guessed maybe she can’t name specific brands but I did get her favorite nail color and some other fun tidbits so stay tuned!

I’m obsessed with this lightweight leopard blazer that Carly from Thirty Something Fashion picked out for me. I recently used her box service styling service and it was a home run, she really has amazing taste. I’d been wanting to step outside my comfort zone a bit and add more color to my wardrobe and she put together about 10 head to toe looks for me to grab on the go. I highly recommend her. You’ll be seeing a ton more of her choices all summer long.

Have a glamorous week.

So many things to say. First, she’s so tall. I have this thought that all California girls are about 5’4″ Myth dispelled. Second. Your hair–so glossy and lovely. Third, cool for you getting a Carly style service. Love it. And finally sad for me that I haven’t seen you more.
