I finally got around to writing Luke’s birth story and planned to publish it on his 2-month birthday. But Sandy hit and I didn’t feel it was appropriate so I’m hanging onto our story a little bit longer. It’s not easy to relive but there are much bigger things going down at the moment.

Ten days after Luke’s arrival we had a visit from Michael and Sophie of Michael Kormos Photography to capture his tiny fingers and tiny toes. At almost 10 weeks today, he’s already grown and changed so much. I’m endlessly thankful to have these photos as a reminder of the precious little baby that was hibernating inside me all those months.

Sebastian adores Michael and Sophie and is becoming quite accustomed to having his photo taken. Hopefully that means a painless holiday shoot this year!

Sooo sweet. Looking at these pictures make me miss those early days… they are such tiny little dolls at that stage.

Aw, he’s beautiful! I especially love the close up of his little face and the one of the boys together. Congrats to you and your family, Jill!

These photos are amazingly precious! I’ve tried my hand at newborn photography and have so much respect for those who can capture these beautiful moments because I am definitely not at that skill level yet.
