Glamamom, Michael Kormos Photography Maternity Photo Shoot

This weekend I had a maternity photo shoot with the lovely and talented baby, family & maternity photographer Michael Kormos and his wife/photography assistant Sophie, in their gorg new Flatiron studio.

While Leo {sporadically} snapped pics of me pregnant with Bubba, I regretfully didn't have professional maternity photos taken so I'm really grateful to have the opportunity to work with Michael and Sophie, who could not be more professional and comfortable to shoot with. Their portfolio of maternity work is breathtaking (that's Sophie, pregnant with their second child, in several of the photos) and Michael and I became fast friends when he casually remarked how easy it will be to Photoshop-out my double-chin after I whined about it.

Prior to the shoot, I browsed Pinterest for inspiration and knew I wanted a natural, ethereal look, so I chose to wear the Grace Dress by Rosie Pope Maternity, which has an empire waist with pleats and deep v-neck of embroidered flowers. I had my hair blown pin-straight and kept my makeup simple with just a bronze eye and mascara, and spray tan from Gotham Glow.

I cannot wait to see the final results. Stay tuned!

Mommas, did you document your blossoming bellies?

Have a glamorous week!
