Aloette is a unique beauty concept that uses the power of aloe vera to create skin-changing and anti-aging skin care and beauty products. Its trademarked "Farm to Jar" philosophy was designed to ensure quality ingredients and efficacy. A proprietary "Aloeganic Aloe Vera," with ten times the potency of conventional aloe vera, is the cornerstone ingredient behind Aloette's product line for its nourishing and refreshing benefits. Products are available via a beauty consultant or Aloette.com.
I had the opportunity to sample one of its hero products, the Aloette Aloepure Restorative Enzyme Peel. It's a 60-second, non-invasive miracle peel. You just dab it on, rub it in, and the combination of natural fruit extracts including grapefruit, cucumber, papaya, pineapple and Aloeganic aloe vera smoothes and exfoliates without zero downtime.
I like the lightweight texture, the cooling feeling of the aloe vera, and the light, almost non-existent fragrance (I get a faint smell of grapefruit. As someone who exfoliates regularly, I think this formula is gentle enough to use several times a week. My moisturizer and makeup go on smoother after each use. It's a bit pricey at $40 and there are additives like coloring, that call the "Farm to Jar" concept into question, but overall I like the formula and results and give it two manicured thumbs up.
