DIY Caviar Manicure

Embrace fall's statement nail trend with this how-to create a caviar manicure.
DIY Caviar Manicure

Statement nails continue to trend as one of the hottest accessories for fall 2013. Be on the look out for metallic, beaded, and mirrored polishes to add a little glamour to your look this season.

Our friends at QVC are celebrating these fall nail trends the entire month of October with #QVCManiMonday and sent me a Ciate Caviar Manicure set to play with. I was initially worried I wouldn't be able to pull it off but it was a breeze to apply and is by far my favorite DIY manicure yet!

Once you've prepped your nails and removed old polish and/or lotion, you simply apply the base coat twice. On the second application, you pour the beads over each nail individually while still wet and BOOM! Caviar mani! The only complicated part (for us moms anyway), is waiting the approximate 15 to 20 minutes for it to try. I also used the beads sparingly so hopefully it will last awhile.

Whether you're keeping your look polished with a half-moon mani or adding some edge with a glitter fade, you'll be totally on trend with a little extra effort.
