After my boys' school work and exercise is complete, their free-time choice is always video games. Nintendo Switch has been a bit of a live-saver for me during this unconventional time. I need some downtime and space to cook, clean, and take care of myself, and the boys need a way to relax, unwind, and connect with friends. We're all ears when it comes to new releases.
In last week's release, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players create their own little slice of paradise as they explore, build, and customize their very own deserted island. Sounds a bit familiar, doesn't it, LOL?! A cast of charming animal residents including Tom Nook and Isabelle help grow your budding community. Players make the world their own using a wealth of natural resources to craft everything from tools to creature comforts and decorate however they wish. You can even take a break to enjoy a beach sunset while ocean fishing or hunt down insects at the crack of dawn.
The boys can play together with up to eight players which is adorable to watch and the major construction like changing the paths of rivers or building and demolishing cliffs through new land developments is the kind of game play I like most for them.
Animal Crossing is a welcome addition to our Nintendo Switch game library!
