Glam Baby Gear | Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Doorway Jumper

Monica Shulman reviews the new Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Doorway Jumper, providing clutter-free healthy baby activity.

It's hard for me to believe but my little summer baby is over 8 months old. He's my second child and this time around I knew exactly what baby gear we needed and what we didn't. Since space is at a premium these days, knowing the difference is more important than ever.

At this age, my daughter absolutely loved her baby jumper. When she grew out of her bouncy seat phase and needed some physical activity while I did things around the house, I knew I could plop her in her jumper and she would be entertained while also getting a bit of exercise. Unfortunately for my son, that old jumper took up way too much space! We try to keep all our toys in the kids' shared room and the small craft table and play kitchen that takes up a corner of our actual kitchen. I donated the enormous contraption but the need for a jumper became more and more apparent as my baby boy is even more active than his big sister was at this age. With all this in mind I was thrilled when the folks over at Little Tikes reached out to us to review their newest doorframe jumper.

The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Doorway Jumpereasily attaches to door frames for bouncing fun and healthy activity. It features a removable play dashboard with music, a horn, a mirror and a cute key to keep baby entertained. I think the removable dashboard is a great feature (possibly my favorite!) because the sounds, while fun at first, might drive me batty. I play our own music and he hangs out in there laughing and having what looks and sounds like the best time ever. Just to get these photos I had to hold him in place for a minute because he simply cannot stop moving once he's in there. He loves it!

This jumper accommodates your growing baby with adjustable straps and holds up to a 26 pound child. You can take it down when not in use (although my daughter LOVES to put her baby dolls in there when her brother isn't using it) and it packs up neatly. This is so important for us as we want our kids to play and have fun in our home but we don't want a constant mess or huge things taking up so much space. We store it under the crib and it's super-portable and light (it weighs under five pounds) so you can keep baby entertained when you're away from home too. My son is big for his age so we are hoping to get as much use out of this fantastic jumper as possible. It's a great thing when a toy is fun, colorful, entertaining AND practical!
