Rosie Pope Baby

Rosie Pope Baby Collection, which launched on Fashion last month, includes sweet & preppy children's wear essentials 0-24 months.

If you're a parent, chances are you've heard of Rosie Pope. She's the television personality and maternity-wear designer that so many moms and dads turn to for style advice and parenting wisdom. Jill and I are huge fans of her maternity line (you can check out Jill's maternity style here and maternity shoot in Rosie Pope here) and were excited to learn that she recently launched a children's wear collection.

The complete Rosie Pope Baby Collection, which launched on last month, includes children's wear essentials 0-24 months ranging from rompers and bodysuits, to dresses and kimono sets, to receiving blankets and hats, each of which are designed using 100 percent cotton for optimal comfort and functionality.

We received samples; the cotton is super soft to the touch and washes very well, and the colors and patterns are sweet and fun. Each piece in the collection is designed with both style and practicality in mind – the footed rompers, for example, feature easy-to-use button closures that unbutton and fold back to maximize use as children grow.

Pope's experience helping so many parents and as a mom herself absolutely shows through in these beautiful clothes. I also love that the clothing is true to size. How many times have you purchased something that is size 6 to 12 months for your 5 month old and it looks tiny and feels snug. Or worse, you purchase it and you only get a couple of wears because they shrink every time you wash them? I constantly have this experience with my 8-month old son and it's very frustrating! Most of his clothes are currently 12 to 18 months or 18 to 24 months because the sizes for his actual age are too small. Keeping this dilemma in mind I ordered the items in size 18 to 24 months and I was so happy to see that they are indeed sized for a child that age so my little guy will have some great new pieces in his wardrobe come spring and summer!

The collection features Pope's exclusive prints, including “Dress Up” and “Anchors Away,” which pay homage to her original sketches and art work inspired by her children. Each piece is packaged with a signature Mommy IQtip from Pope to help build confidence, featuring the easy and relatable advice that made her the go-to-expert for expecting parents everywhere.

One of the adorable and super soft pants that I chose for my son came with a label that reads: "Try not to have your wee one alone during a time-out. Go together and talk about it then move on. Don't carry it around with you for the rest of the day." I LOVED reading that and having that gentle reminder that it's always important to communicate with your children.

I can't wait for the weather to finally warm up in New York so that I dress my baby in these great clothes.
