Paving Our Own Way with the All-Terrain City Mini® GT

We have long been fans of Baby Jogger's line of strollers, particularly the City Mini. Its durability and functionality combined with its understated, minimal style and price-point, make it an easy favorite. I've personally tested, reviewed and/or owned almost every stroller on the market today and the City Mini is my family's go-to stroller.

We recently received the new City Mini GT, an all-terrain model, with a hand-break, that supports children up to 65 pounds. Here's what we like about the City Mini GT:

Easy to Assemble: The City Mini GT is a breeze to assemble. The box is compact, with the body fully assembled. All you have to do is pop in the wheels, and you're off!

Easy Fold: For families on the go, an easy fold should be one of the number one priorities for a stroller. I have reviewed lightweight travel strollers that are impossible to fold. The City Mini GT folds with one hand. You simply lift the strap (right on the seat) and it folds itself simply and compactly. It really is as easy as it sounds. The auto-lock will lock the fold for transportation or storage and is easy to undo when you're ready to roll again.

Seat & Harness: This seat was built for comfort. It reclines to a near flat position with vents and has a retractable weather cover to make sure that your child is comfortable and safe while you stroll. I can't tell you how much of a lifesaver this is if your child is napping on the road! I have had both my children (6 & 3) take long, comfortable naps in this stroller! The harness is secure and easy to open and close.

Handlebar & Break: An adjustable handlebar adapts to your height and a hand-operated parking brake keeps all the controls within reach. I love that this stroller is not one-size fits all and can accommodate different heights.

Canopy: The UV 50+ sun canopy can open to multiple positions. It has two peek-a-boo windows so you can keep an eye on your precious cargo. Not only is the large canopy great for sun and wind protection, but it really blocks out noise and light if my kids are napping. The peek-a-boo windows are all I need to check in.

All-Terrain Wheels: The City Mini GT has 85-inch all-terrain wheels that can go from city to the country. It's not a jogger, but the all-terrain wheels and front wheel suspension work in unison to give you full control on where and how you go while keeping the little one comfortable. You will notice the quality and durability immediately.

Travel System: The City Mini GT can become a travel system in a heartbeat. Just choose the Car Seat Adapter that matches your car seat, snap it in, and your travel system is ready to go. This makes the City Mini GT an economical choice from birth well beyond toddlerhood. We love a good value, and trust me, this stroller will last.

It has a variety of accessories options for your comfort and lifestyle:

I also have the standard City Mini, which I highly recommend as well. It's lighter weight but doesn't accommodate as much weight or have the all-terrain wheels, although I use it on grass, etc. Baby Jogger has awesome options for all different lifestyles:

At $359.99, you cannot beat the price point, and the City Mini GT is available in a variety of color combinations depending on your preference. I love Steel/Gray color combination!
