Irene huffed and puffed but couldn't blow our little townhouse in (although our downstairs neighbors are kayaking from room to room as I write this).

I'm thankful miss hurricane didn't live up to her hype but locking everything down and fleeing the city complicated an already hectic week, which included several blogging events (some lovely, some not so much), a beautiful vineyard wedding, and a social media panel hosted by my advertising network, Glam Media.

Nestled alongside Casey Coyle of Fashion Plate Blog, Michelle Madhok of, &, Jennifer Davidson of, and Christina Tsang of in the cozy library of Soho House, we discussed how fashion brands can best work with bloggers to achieve their social media goals. It was an honor to learn from these ambitious and stylish women, the unique and successful approaches they're taking to partner with brands and bring fresh and engaging content to their audiences. Club Monaco Sleeveless Trench Dress

So what does a Glamamom wear on a soupy summer morning when she's jonesing to wear her new Uniqlo trench but it's too muggy? A Club Monaco sleeveless trench dress, Catherine Malandrino leopard print belt, Stuart Weitzman wedges, Essie "Really Red" nails.

My pops watched Sebastian while I was out that morning and other than some chocolate hand prints on the wall (at least I think it was chocolate) and crayon on the couch, it was a success. Bubba loves his papa and I fully plan to exploit this new found cheap labor going forward.
