Tonight is Fashion’s Night Out, a one-night only, global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping.
In New York City, 100 other cities across the country, and 16 other countries around the world, designers, celebrities, models, and fashion editors stage exciting, one-of-a-kind events with music, cocktails, celebrity appearances, giveaways, and discounts in stores open after hours to the public. Over 1,000 retailers are participating in Manhattan alone.
I'm leaving for Philadelphia first thing in the morning to attend Bloggy Boot Camp and visit with my cousin Jimmy, a freshman at Penn, my alma mater, but couldn't resist hopping around the Meatpacking District for just a peek.
Did you make it out tonight? What were your oohs and boos?
