Cozy Coordinating Slippers #Payless #SoleStyle
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Payless for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
One of the things I love about the days getting shorter is that it forces you to slow down and take a little more time to reconnect and cuddle with your little ones. When the days are longer I find myself staying out in the playground or running errands around the city too close to bedtime and we all are a cranky mess by the time we decide to call it a day.
My favorite thing to do on a Sunday night is to get a stack of books and curl up under a cozy blanket (and maybe grab a pint of ice cream too!). The heat in our building has yet to be turned on, but the temperatures are quickly dipping and I slip into my favorite slippers to keep warm.
I was running errands the other day and came across a display for some adorable slippers in the window of Payless that were nearly identical to ones I had been coveting at another store for a fraction of the price. Turned out, it was a slippers! These were just too cute to pass up and they had coordinating slippers for my little lady as well. I still remember my early days of cross-border shopping as Payless had yet to make it to the far north and feeling like I had hit the jackpot with rows upon rows of on-trend shoes organized by my size.
I ducked inside only to be greeted by the familiar rows of shoes organized by size but noticed something a little different. There was a wide selection of shoes from super casual to dressy heels, perfect for a night out. I left with seven pairs of new shoes for the kids and myself and I’ll be sharing those picks soon.
I’m pretty excited about these new slippers and am thinking I need a few more pairs in other colors. I’ve been known to create fun themed holiday gifts for friends and family and I think these slippers could be the perfect jumping off point for a staycation-themed gift. Don’t you? Check out the Payless on Pinterest page for other ideas too.
