In pretty much a dream partnership, Lyssé Leggings are the feature for this installment of Three Stylish Mamas with my gorgeous friends Kristin of BonBon Rose Girls and Carly of Thirty Something Fashion.

I don't believe you need a stacked closet to have a stylish wardrobe but rather a good foundation of versatile go-to pieces that make you look fabulous. For me, those basics include good quality leggings. I've been recommending Lyssé for some time now in my boutique and style posts. They're incredibly comfortable and the quality is the best I've tried. While they're not shape wear, Lyssé leggings come above the waist and flatter the figure from your midsection through the leg. These leggings prove that style and comfort are NOT mutually exclusive!

For spring, I've add a white "Skinny" pair to my line up. White isn't the most practical color for moms but since I can toss them right into the washing machine, I was willing to give a light color a try and I'm glad I did. I'll get a ton of use out of these throughout the spring and summer from camp drop offs to chilly beach nights. I love that they can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

They key to wearing leggings outside the gym for me is layering with a longer top and sweater/jacket/scarf like we all did. Even if you have buns of steel, I recommend keeping that area covered for a more age-appropriate and sophisticated look!

Be sure to check out how Kristin and Carly styled their "Midnight" and "Rouge" skinnies respectively. We'll be back next week to show off our floral leggings.

Have you tried Lyssé yet?
